 Hello readers, welcome to another entry of my blog. Today I want to talk about how books have helped me fight depression.   From a very young age, one of my hobbies has been reading. Since I only read school books, some of my favorites were: 1984, Another twist, The iliad and son of a thief.  Reading is something I love to do even if it is more of a duty than a hobby. During the pandemic, i started to present many symptoms of depression, so I began with psychological and psychiatric treatment. Since we couldn't go out or see family or friends, I got more and more depressed. One day during the quarantine, I decided to read a fantasy book that was recommended to me on a YouTube video. This book is called "Shadowhunters", and I simply loved it. I investigated more of this book and I discovered that it was a saga of 6 books. And that's how i found shelter in books, and a way to spend my time without thinking about how sad I felt.   Books have made me discover that ...

 Hello readers, welcome to another post on my blog. Today I want to talk about my favorite piece of technology, that is, my cell phone. This is my favorite piece of technology because I can do everything with it, for example: take photos, study, read a book, communicate with my family and friends, play games, listen to music, see social networks and many other things. What I use it for the most is to communicate with my friends, take photos, use social networks and listen to music. The cell phone is almost an extension of my hand, I always have it with me, and sometimes it distracts me when I have to study. If you ask me if I recommend the use of the cell phone, my answer is yes! It is a great and very useful invention, although it must be used sparingly. See you later readers.  Hello readers, welcome back. Today I am going to talk about my career: dentistry. When I was little I wanted to work in many things like: dancer, firefighter, doctor, taxi driver. But when I grew up I reduced my options to three: lawyer, doctor, or teacher. I finally decided to study medicine, but I didn't stay in the race, and I ended up studying dentistry because it was getting closer to medicine. I have been studying dentistry for two years and my experience has been traumatic, because it is a very difficult career, the university is very demanding, and the academic load is heavy, which is why now I go to the psychologist.   Now something more positive is that I made very good friends and some classmates have helped me a lot to feel better.  Hi readers, my name is Valentina Villegas, I am a odontology student at the University of Chile. I currently live in Santiago de Chile and this is the place where I was born, I like living here because it is a big place and I like the connectivity it has. About me, I am 19 years old, I live with my parents, I have a brother, my favorite color is blue, I really like to read fantasy books and my favorite food is pizza. I used to have two pets, a cat and a dog, but a month ago my cat died and that makes me very sad. I love my parents very much, they are always with me, but they work a lot.
